The Commission consists of 7 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors: a member of the Board of Supervisors, the County Superintendent of Schools, one to three representatives of a local organization or collaborative serving young children, and two to four from among the following: County Health Officer, County Mental Health Director, County Welfare Director, County Tobacco Cessation Program Manager, or another manager in the field of public or behavioral health, social services, tobacco or substance abuse prevention and treatment.
